Legal & Policy
Payment & Billing Policy
How payments, invoices, taxes, currencies and transaction issues are handled for Logibyte Technologies engagements.
Payments
Logibyte Technologies may accept domestic and international payments through approved banks, payment gateways or payment service providers. Depending on availability, customers may be offered:
- UPI;
- Cards;
- Bank transfer;
- Net banking;
- Payment links;
- Other authorised payment methods;
- Supported international payment methods.
Availability may vary by customer location, currency, project and payment provider.
Payment Security
Payment credentials should be processed through authorised payment providers. Logibyte Technologies does not intend to independently store complete card credentials on its website.
RBI restrictions generally prevent entities in the card-payment chain other than permitted issuers/networks from storing actual card-on-file data.
Invoices
Invoices and receipts will reflect applicable transaction and tax information as required.
Customers should retain invoices and payment confirmations for their own records, as they may be required for reconciliation, warranty of work performed, or any future billing query.
Taxes
Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise.
GST and other applicable Indian taxes may be charged where required by law. For international transactions, applicable taxes or statutory charges may apply depending on the transaction and jurisdiction.
Advance & Milestone Payments
Projects may require an advance, milestone payments, recurring payments or full payment depending on the engagement.
The applicable payment structure will be communicated before or during the engagement through the proposal, quotation, invoice or SOW.
Payment Due Dates
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, payments must be made by the due date specified on the relevant invoice or payment request.
Undisputed overdue amounts may lead to suspension of work in line with the Terms & Conditions.
Currencies
Currencies
Indian customers will ordinarily be invoiced in INR unless otherwise agreed.
International customers may be invoiced or charged in an approved currency depending upon banking and payment-processing availability and applicable regulations.
A customer's bank or card issuer may independently apply currency-conversion charges or other fees.
Third-Party Payment Processors
Payments are processed by independent banks, gateways or payment service providers. Their processing, settlement timelines and technical availability are outside Logibyte Technologies' direct control.
A transaction may be subject to the processor's own terms, checks and acceptance.
International Transactions
Cross-border payments may be subject to verification, compliance checks, exchange-rate application and provider restrictions.
These are explained in detail in the International Payments Policy.
Bank & Conversion Charges
Correspondent banks, card issuers or payment providers may impose charges outside Logibyte Technologies' control.
Where currency conversion occurs, exchange rates may be determined by the payment processor, bank, card network or other financial institution.
Failed Payments
Unclear Payment Status
A failed payment should not be assumed successful merely because an amount appears temporarily debited.
Customers should contact us with the transaction reference if payment status remains unclear, so it can be reconciled with the payment provider.
Payment Verification
Logibyte Technologies may request reasonable information required to verify a transaction or customer, particularly for high-value or international payments.
Payment Disputes
Customers should contact us first so a billing concern can be investigated and resolved directly where possible.
Payment disputes and grievances follow the route described on the Customer Support & Grievance page.
Chargebacks
Chargebacks
Where a chargeback or payment dispute occurs, Logibyte Technologies may provide the payment processor, acquiring bank, card network or other relevant institution with legitimate transaction and service-delivery records, including invoices, agreements, communications, approvals and delivery evidence, as permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this policy restricts rights available to a consumer under applicable law.
Fraud Prevention
Transactions may be subject to security, fraud-prevention, KYC, AML, sanctions or other compliance checks by banks and payment processors.
Logibyte Technologies may decline or refund a transaction where required by law or by a payment partner's risk controls.
